This Peregrine Falcon, Falco peregrinus, an endangered species, is flying on Brigantine Island near the Brigantine Inn where he spends the fall and winter. He can often be seen with his mate on the building eating his catch.  The Peregrine is the fastest bird alive, attaining a speed of up to 250 mph in a dive to kill prey.
